Opening the game
The game window didn’t open+
Use a normal link to the original game below. Our play buttons open a new tab, so a strict browser setting may block that tab. You can use the same-tab link instead.
I can see this guide, but not the game+
The guide and the game are separate websites. Use Play Dirtbound to open dirtbound.fr. Nothing needs to be downloaded.
Display & performance
A blank screen or a loading screen+
First refresh the original game once. Try a current browser with WebGL enabled. If an extension blocks scripts, test with that extension disabled only for dirtbound.fr. Avoid clearing your browser data as a first step.
The game feels slow or stutters+
In the original game, open Settings and select the Low graphics preset. It reduces visual effects and scene details. Close other heavy tabs, then try a short solo stage again.
Keys & controller
The arrow keys scroll instead of driving+
Click inside the game window to give it focus. Check your saved controls in Settings. If the keyboard test is running here, stop it and switch back to the game tab.
My controller is not responding+
Connect the controller before opening the game, then press a button with the game focused. Check the game’s controller bindings. Browser and device support can differ.
Progress & rooms
My settings or local best times are missing+
The original game stores some preferences and best times in browser storage. A different browser, private browsing or cleared site data can make them unavailable. Return to your original browser profile; this guide cannot restore deleted game data.
I cannot join a friend’s room+
Confirm the room code and whether the host is still connected. Follow any sign-in prompt in the game, and use the same official game site. Room management and online services are controlled by DirtBound.
