01 / Meet in the game

Open DirtBound and select Multiplayer. Follow the game’s sign-in prompts if required. Your identity and room access are managed on dirtbound.fr; this guide cannot create a room or join one on your behalf.

  1. Have one player create a room in the multiplayer menu.
  2. Choose the available room settings together.
  3. Share the room code with your friends.
  4. Other players open the multiplayer menu and use the join option.

02 / Bring everyone along

Double-check the room code and make sure the host remains in the room while others join. If a player cannot connect, refresh the game once and confirm that everyone is using the official site.

Room codes come from the original game. This website does not generate room codes or show live player counts.

03 / Try a different kind of race

The multiplayer menu also offers an experimental mode. Its default item-use keys are E or Enter. Follow the current in-game explanation for its rules and available items.

We verified the menu and bindings, but did not run a multiplayer session. Rules and availability may change as development continues.

04 / Same road, your own pace

You can also compete informally without a multiplayer lobby. Configure a stage, copy its game link and send it to a friend. A matching seed, length and landscape reproduce the route. Keep your car and settings consistent if you compare times.
